Registered nurses have the responsibility to plans for patient care, provide, and coordinated care,educate patients about health conditions. The RN must provide advice and emotional support to
the patients and their families.

The following are common duties which include but are not limited to:

• Assessing, observing and speaking to patients
• Recording details and symptoms of patient medical history and curent health Administering
• Medications and Treatments, and monitoring patients for side effects and reactions
• performing wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging them
• Educating patients and family members.
